He Changeth Not

God is Love, His Law, His Nature 
Will be love forever more, 
And His ways are everlasting 
He changeth not – so is the law. 

In the history of the conflict 
From the time that sin began 
Till the final overthrow of it 
The Father’s love still stands! 
 
He's the well spring of all glory 
The fountain of humanity 
And He sent His Son to save us 
And expose so all could see 
His plan for our redemption

As He hung upon that tree 
To pay the price for sinning 
And to let the man go free 
 
He came and gave His life for ours 
Redeemed the man from sin 
A grace so undeserved 
Which we'd need so we'd begin 
The journey toward heaven 
And to do the law's commands, 
So we could learn just how to walk 
Sinless in Heaven's land.
